I went to Alexandra Palace in North London to go to the OM Yoga Show. I got stuck in to my first workshop. There was a lot to fit in, when I arrived I attended an amazing hip opener class, the best way to start the day. OWCH! It was an amazing feeling and it definitely helped me gain flexibility for the rest of the day for sure.
The teacher even said in the class if you want to cry, now could be a good time! The hip opener series can let out a lot of emotions. I then tried Eka Pada Sirsasana the good old - 'Foot-behind-the-head-pose'. Yes it does what it says on the tin. Still something to keep on practicing to master that one. It is really beneficial for activating the fire energy so it helps your body digest your food quickly. Perfect for my post huge breakfast digestion anyway!
There was endless treats, delicious food, new equipment, more classes and lectures. There was such a great variety of things to what an inspirational day!
